Parent Advisory Council
The Parent Advisory Council (PAC), serves as the consultative and representative body for parents of Title I students, helps ensure meaningful, two-way communications between schools and parents regarding Title I student academic learning and other school activities. In order for these federal funds to be spent for parental involvement, the parents of IS 349 students must develop a Parent Advisory Council (PAC). All parents who have a child registered are part of the Parent Advisory Council and will meet monthly in consultation and develop a proposed budget on how the 1% in federal funding should be spent to maximize parental involvement at IS 349.
